My Journey
My journey into holistic health started with a deep curiosity and passion for natural medicine. As a child, I was always keenly aware of the products I used on my skin due to my sensitivity to synthetic substances and gravitated towards natural alternatives. This early awareness laid the foundation for my lifelong commitment to holistic wellness. I've always been sensitive from the inside out, and this sensitivity has guided my choices and deepened my understanding of holistic health.
Personal Transformation
Growing up, I was always the “skinny girl” who could eat anything without worrying about my weight. However, I noticed close family members struggling with weight from a young age. Witnessing their struggles and later facing my own, I realized how deeply our eating habits and emotional health are intertwined.
In my twenties, I faced a major health crisis and had to have my gallbladder removed. This was a wake-up call. My metabolism had changed, and suddenly, I couldn’t eat whatever I wanted without consequences. I discovered that I had a low thyroid and a sluggish liver, and IBS conditions that were exacerbated by my diet and lifestyle choices.
These experiences forced me to confront my own health and adopt a more mindful approach to eating and living. I began to understand that my body, mind, and spirit are deeply connected and that true health requires a holistic approach.
Professional Evolution
My professional journey began with studies in homeopathy, which led me to integrative nutrition where I started to realize how much food affects our mood. I expanded my expertise into gut health and became particularly passionate about the power of colon hydrotherapy and lymphatic drainage. I discovered firsthand how these therapies can reset the gut and promote overall well-being.
As a health coach and owner of Fernz Wellness Studio in Los Angeles, I specialize in gut health, weight management, and emotional eating. My approach is holistic, functional, and integrative. I believe in getting to the root cause of health issues and using natural, sustainable methods to achieve balance.

A unique aspect of my practice is integrating the Blood Type Diet and Ayurvedic Nutrition with a focus on bio individuality, gut, hormonal, and emotional health. This approach, deeply rooted in Japanese culture, recognizes that different blood types process foods differently. I’ve seen incredible results in myself and my clients by tailoring nutrition to our unique genetic makeup.
While the Blood Type Diet has worked wonders for me, it’s not a requirement for clients. My primary goal is to create a customized plan that helps you feel good in your unique body, supporting your healing journey with the approach that resonates most with you.
